Suicide Tourist

We follow Max, who in the midst of an existential crisis and looking to solve a cold case checks into the clandestine Hotel Aurora. A unique secretive facility that specializes in elaborate assisted suicide fantasies. His investigation uncovers a disturbing truth that forces Max to question the very nature of life, death and his own perception of reality.

Suicide Tourist is a mystery drama which reminds of The Lobster and Black Mirror. Large parts of the film is shot in Norway, which gives the film a distinctive visual character. It lures the audience into a unique and exciting caricature of reality, and surprises with an intimately emotional and human story about what really matters in life and how we relate to an unavoidable death. Suicide Tourist is director Jonas Alexander Arnby’s second feature film.
