Ingimundur is a responsible father, widower and small-town sheriff. While building a house for his daughter and grandchild, he becomes obsessed with finding the man he suspects of being involved in his wife's death.

A White, White Day is a distinctive and emotional tale of grief, revenge and human impulse. It is directed by Hlynur Pálmason who made great success with Winter Brothers I 2017. Pálmason is seen as one of the most exciting new directors in the Nordics. A White, White Day was shown at La Semaine de la Critique during the Cannes festival in 2019.
