SYNOPSIS
A young couple living in the Mexican lowlands struggle to find themselves but at the risk of destroying each other in the process. Then when a meteorite crashes onto an isolated mountain nearby, the effects that are felt will change their lives forever.
DIRECTOR
THE UNTAMED is directed by Amat Escalante. It won the Silver Lion for Best Director at the Venice Film Festival in 2016. Escalantes previous feature, HELI, won the award for Best Director at the Cannes Film Festival, 2013.
The project has received funds from Sørfond with Mer Film as co-producer.
